Hi, my name is Annai Smith and I’m an oil painter living and working from my orchard home in Northern California. My painting practice has become my gratitude journal where I document and express feelings of gratitude, peace, joy, excitement, and contentment. Life is rarely filled with these emotions but I seek to find them in the simple pleasures in life. There are times I long for the beauty of the wide world but recognize what a gift it is to see with an artist’s eye, the colors, textures, and intricacies of what is right in front of me. I don’t take that for granted!
My garden, the birds and animals I find there, and the landscapes I experience are my muse. My goal as an artist is to create something beautiful that will elevate and enrich your life. I love home and design. There are a few elements I believe make a house a home: books, family photos, and Original Art. I hope to create art that connects with you!
